Challenge 336 – Fun Florals

I had so much fun making this floral background with the Concord and 9th – Flower Turnabout. I had been dying to get my hands on one of the great turnabout background stamps. They make fun and easy backgrounds in no time. Look at the close up to see the stitching detail created by some great dies.

Stamps: Concord and 9th – Flower Turnabout, Simon Says Stamp – Happy Birthday | Distress Ink: Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral, Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries, Shabby Shutters | Dies: Kaisercraft – Stitched Borders, Stitched Scallop Ovals

Challenge 334 – Nut Birthday

Today I have a masculine card for you. The added theme this week at Try Stampin on Tuesday was to make a masculine card. So I did. The great part about this card is that to make the nuts it is simply a hexagon with a circle cut out the middle. I decided that I could fit 4 hexagons instead of just 3. Mix it up and have fun with the sketch.

Dies: We R Memory Keepers – Hexagons, Circles Stampin Up – Tool Time | Embossing Folder: Darice – Diamond Plate | Distress Inks: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot, Salty Ocean
